Doug's World Tour Part 2: Toronto, Canada

We got into Toronto right on time. Our hotel, the Royal York, was right across the street from the station. We didn't even have to go outside to get there as there was an underground walkway. In fact the entire downtown area is connected by a series of underground walkways. One doesn't even need to go out in the weather to hit all the highlights of the city.

After freshing up we walked to the SkyDome and CN Tower. The tower is one of the most recognizable sights of the city. We took the tour up to the observation deck and got some great views of Toronto. We ate a late lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe inside the SkyDome.

While we were eating at the Hard Rock, some kind of movie or TV show was being made down on the field. It was some kind of sports movie because the field and players were made up to look like the New Orleans Saints and the Washington Redskins. Many shows are made in Toronto each year due to the fact of lower costs.
